The OVA will be hosting its first “Volleyball for Life” Conference on Saturday, March 27th, 2010. The conference will feature two keynote addresses from prominent sports and volleyball personalities as well as two interactive panel discussions and presentations involving representatives from other sports who will share their experiences and challenges in implementing the Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) model. The Coaching Association of Canada would like to remind you that the Chevrolet Making Dreams Possible Club Coaching Grant applications are still open! This spring, another 50+ $2,000 grants will be awarded to community sport clubs across the country for coach training and development. The application deadline is February 22, 2010. Community clubs of Olympic and Paralympic sports can apply online directly at www.coach.ca/makingdreamspossible/club. |
